New for 2006 ~ Koi Pond II Koi Pond 1 was so much fun to ink I did it again with a trio of koi this time. Periwinkle blue iris & brown cat tails anchor the gold & orange of the fish. The original is 13" wide & 20 " long and is double matted behind a walnut brown wooden frame. It can be purchased for $1850.00 . There are Limited Edition (300) , signed and numbered prints and note cards available as listed below.
 The koi are like colorful ghosts moving through the water. They swim close , curious about life above the waters surface but dart away quickly when we lean over to look back at them. These koi were the exception. Hand fed they followed me around the pond's edge, sure that people are the dispensers of food and mean no harm. The white one is an old fellow and is practically fearless. ( UPDATE..the original is sold. The beautiful koi now swim to bring tranquillity to a dentist's office , calming patients. They have a very nice new home) I have limited edition , signed & numbered prints available as well , in two sizes . This is a popular image and there are a very limited number of prints available as I set the limit low at 100.
